OQ Accelerator Programme (OQX) is a corporate accelerator (energy) in Oman. Energy-sector accelerator of OQ, run by OQX, OQ’s innovation hub, with programme activities in Muscat. The six-month Acceleration Path is for start-ups beyond MVP: those that achieve key milestones may qualify for a grant of up to $50,000 and follow-on investment of up to $450,000. The three-month Pre-Acceleration Path is for Omani early-stage start-ups, with potential investment of up to $100,000 from Future Fund Oman. Focus areas include operation and maintenance of energy assets, polymers and chemicals, digital and AI for energy, energy efficiency, water management, emissions reduction and renewables.
