Bahrain Investment Market (BIM) is a growth-company equity market (listing route) in Bahrain. Bahrain Bourse's equity market for fast-growing companies from Bahrain, the GCC and the wider MENA region to raise growth capital by direct offering, with a more relaxed regulatory framework, easier disclosure, minimal admission requirements and a path to the Regular Market. Admission requires a closed shareholding company (in Bahrain or its equivalent in another jurisdiction), minimum paid-up capital of BHD 50,000, sufficient working capital, a free float of at least 10%, at least 2 shareholders and a two-year lock-up for founders. Fees: BD 1,650 registration, an annual fee of 0.3% of paid-up capital plus VAT (BD 1,100 to 5,500) and BD 2,200 a year for the sponsor. BIM rules are approved by the Central Bank of Bahrain.
